Large crowd, tons of smiles and raising money for Noah Strong Foundation
ALLANDER – Noah’s Ninjas had it all figured out.
Keep the ball in their end, play hard and aggressive and never give up.
Peyton Thomson, Alivia O’Neill, Olivia Bourque, Eva Thomson and Jocelyn Leonard were known as Noah’s Ninjas at Saturday’s second annual Noah Strong Ball Hockey Tournament at the Bill Barber Complex.
The event attracted 40 teams of girls and boys who were out to have a good time and raise money for the Noah Strong Foundation.
Special guests Sarnia Sting goalie Benjamin Gaudreau, Nipissing Lakers hockey star Maria Dominico and Bill Barber, former Philadelphia Flyers hockey star performed the ceremonial ball drop.
The event is in honour of Noah Dugas, a 13-year-old North Bay AAA hockey player who died from a brain bleed in Nov 2020.
