Those who knew Noah Dugas said he had the biggest heart. That heart saved the life of an 11-year-old girl.
Jody Dugas, Noah’s mother, said the family whose daughter was the recipient of Noah’s heart, reached out to the Dugas’ to express their sincere gratitude.
“It’s overwhelming, but that’s the kind of person Noah was. He would have wanted to help others,” she said Saturday.
“It means so much to know that other lives were saved in this. We’re helping a family that doesn’t have to go through something like we did. “
